Getting There - By Public Transport

Via Upminster Station

From London Fenchurch Street:

C2C services depart Fenchurch Street station to Upminster every 10 minutes on Friday and Saturday; four times per hour on Sunday.

From London Underground lines:

Take the DLR, District, Hammersmith & City or Jubilee Lines as far as West Ham then changing onto the C2C service or you can remain on the District line throughout but this can take up to 15 minutes longer.

From Romford:

Greater Anglia trains run every 30 minutes from Romford on Friday & Saturday. No Service on Sunday.

From Southend:

C2C services depart Southend Central every 15 minutes

Once you reach Upminster station:

Continue by catching bus No.370 from stop B towards Lakeside, getting off at the Corbetts Tey stop RM14 (South Ockendon Rd). You will need to walk for approximately 15 minutes to the showground (Please be aware that this involves walking along some roads without pavements with close running traffic, and caution is advised). This journey will take about 40 minutes in total. On Friday & Saturday buses run about every 15 minutes and on Sundays run every 30 minutes.

Alternatively, a Taxi service is available from Upminster station which is run by Station Cars. Please call them to book in advance (if possible) on 01708-229400 - Don't forget to arrange your return journey from the show.

Via Rainham Station

From London:

C2C services depart Fenchurch Street station to Rainham every 30 minutes on Friday and Saturday. On Sundays, there are no direct trains from London - an hourly service operates from Barking. Alternatively, use the District, Hammersmith & City or London Overground lines as far as Barking changing onto the C2C service.

Unfortunately there are no buses from Rainham station but there are local taxi services:-

A.L Mini Car Service Tel 01708-522222 / 521600 / 521000 or Broadway Cars Tel 01708-522600 both of which are within a 5 minute walk from station followed by a 10 minute ride to the airfield.
